In this guide we tell how we organized a Lead Generation strategy with WhatsApp spending very little and maximizing what the customer already had.

Let’s start from the assumption that the customer was already equipped with:

Landing pages dedicated to 2 specific promotions

In the next paragraphs we will see together how to organize the strategy and exploit some free tools, which certainly have limitations, but which with a few tricks can be configured and used for a long time in their free version.

The client’s need ( Pet Care sector ) was to save as much time as possible in lead management and try to automate the initial contact a little .

Another difficulty was the coexistence of two stores in a rather limited geographical area using a single landing page and therefore without knowing which store the leads wanted to go to.

The activity we had set up for this client was entirely oriented towards obtaining new contacts for two types of service on two separate points of sale.

We had therefore created dedicated landing pages for each service and geolocalized PPC and Social Ads campaigns in areas of interest with strong competition.

So, having an important setup of the activities behind us, we found some solutions to speed up the first contact with the leads using WhatsApp Business.

According to 2023 data on the use of the internet, social media and devices, in Italy we have over 50 million users connected to the internet out of a population of 59 million units.

The keyword “WhatsApp” is the 13th most searched keyword on Google and 89% of Italian internet users use the related app every month; it is also the most used social platform overall.

This tells us that almost all of our client’s target audience uses WhatsApp. In general, the client knows the habits of their customers and admits that basically everyone prefers contact on WhatsApp to a phone call or – even worse – an SMS message.

First of all, you need to equip yourself with a tool that allows you to create automatic routes within your WhatsApp Business account .
